DSLR – now with Strobes

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Having added some Ikelite DS125 strobes I’ve hopefully improved the pics by adding some light. I was diving a RB80 as was Clare my buddy. We were also both trying the new Silent Planet heated vests. We managed 60mins in 4 degrees and I was quite pleased with the pics even if I haven’t got the hang of it yet.

DSLR – natural light

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Went diving with my new toy a DSLR. It’s a Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing and I’m focusing on wide angle photos with a fisheye 10.5 lens. I was diving with JackMac who’s very DIR and Janos whose not (spot the CCR).

Eastbourne – nitrox trip

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Had a day out of Eastbourne for some Nitrox dives. The lack of hassle of just a twinset and one stage was great. We dived the “Gun Wreck” and then followed that up with a drift. A good day out even if I was a bit sea-sick :(

Vobster day out

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

In the run up to France I had a day at Vobster with Andy and John playing with RB’s. The idea was to test a PP02 sensor in Andy’s RB. Good fun – just a nice day out.
